Summerfest and Briggs & Stratton Highlight Stage Lineup, Experiences, and Community Impact During Festival’s Three Weekends

Briggs & Stratton Volunteers to Plant Flowers May 28 at Henry Maier Festival Park



MILWAUKEE, WI (May 28, 2024) – Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance and Briggs & Stratton share a deep commitment to the Milwaukee community. Through sponsorship of the festival, the big lineup on the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard Stage with CBS 58, activations during Summerfest, and employee engagement and volunteerism, Briggs & Stratton continues to demonstrate its commitment to Summerfest and the broader community.

The Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard lineup during Summerfest spans all music styles, with headliners including O.A.R, Gin Blossoms, Dawes, Ethel Cain, Charles Wesley Godwin, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Extreme, Mariah The Scientist, Wage War, and more.  For the full lineup, visit Summerfest.com.

On Saturday, June 22, the community is encouraged to participate in the Briggs & Stratton Mary Lou’s Closet Supply Drive at Summerfest from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. supporting United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County's Mary Lou’s Closet, a program providing needed hygiene supplies for youth in area public schools. The first 1,500 patrons who donate NEW socks, deodorant, and/or oral hygiene items (toothbrush and toothpaste) with a total minimum value of $10, will receive one FREE admission ticket. All donations will benefit the Milwaukee Community Schools Partnership.

Briggs & Stratton will showcase their engine and energy solutions products, motorsports, and talent with various experiences throughout Summerfest. On opening day, June 20, the Briggs & Stratton team will be on site with engines, batteries, generators, and other equipment.  Plus, on June 27 & 28, the Briggs Racing team will showcase racing engines and a sprint racing Kart that ran in a 24-hour event. And, don't miss Briggs & Stratton employee Todd Cameron, who will be headlining the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard stage with his Nashville, TN, band on Saturday, June 28 at 4:00 p.m.

To help prepare Henry Maier Festival Park for the upcoming festival season, Briggs & Stratton employees will volunteer on Tuesday, May 28, planting flowers throughout the grounds, prior to the first festival of 2024, Festa Italiana.
