BRIGGS & STRATTON EXPANDS COMMERCIAL PRODUCT PORTFOLIO WITH ACQUISITION OF STAND-ON BLOWER PRODUCT LINE
Second acquisition in eight months designed to accelerate growth opportunity in commercial lawn and turf market; aligns with Company strategy to fill out the landscaper’s trailer
MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (August 1, 2018) – Briggs & Stratton Corporation today announced that it has acquired certain assets of Hurricane, Inc. of Muskegon Heights, MI, a designer and manufacturer of high-quality, rugged stand-on leaf and debris blowers. Terms of the transaction, which accelerates the Company’s diversification into commercial products, were not disclosed.
